Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic there may be a need for the Council to prioritise those with the most need for available housing. As such, it is possible that vacant properties advertised for let could be withdrawn at short notice both during and after the advertising process. The Council will endeavour to do all it can to reduce the need for such withdrawals however, if a property you have bid for is withdrawn then we would recommend that you place further bids on other properties which are advertised. Should you currently have a priority and wish to discuss this further, please contact your Rehousing Officer for advice.
Any properties which are withdrawn will be notified as normal on our website.
In addition, if you are completing a new application to join the Housing Register, you will not need to supply your ID immediately. We will contact you at the appropriate time to request that you provide this.
